I created this piece to celebrate a new beginning, the birth of our son, and our family becoming three. Inspired by my Finnish heritage, I imagined a quiet forest beneath mountain silhouettes reminiscent of the Moomin valleys I grew up loving.

Above it all shines Ursa Minor, with Polaris (the North Star) glowing brightest. In Nordic tradition, Polaris has always been a guide for travellers finding their way home. Here, it's a quiet promise: that my child will always find his way through life. The moon adds a touch of magic to the night sky.
